The farm of the young Kompara family, located in the village of Lokavec, only three kilometres away from Ajdovščina, leans against the side of the Gora pod Čavnom mountain.

You will find that they are highly skilled in the kitchen at this farm, the principal activity of which is cattle breeding.

Guests who can stay at two modern furnished apartments are pampered with excellent breakfasts featuring homemade dried meat products (salamis, neck of pork, prosciutto, etc.) and homemade oven-baked bread. Granny Marija Rosanda will place on the table the frtalja omelette with cheese and prosciutto or a folded crêpe with various fillings, of which the homemade apricot jam is a favourite with guests. The farm offers an excellent space for picnics. It is highly suitable for families with children who can play on the playground, grassy badminton court and, of course, with the domestic animals (Riča the mare, goats, etc.). They can also simply discover the beauties of life in nature. The farm is an excellent base for visiting various natural, cultural and historical attractions. Holidaymakers can visit Vipava, the monastery in Vipavski Križ, Ajdovščina and many other places. Hiking enthusiasts can ascend the mountains of Gora, Čaven, Golak and Mala gora, while cycling enthusiasts should not leave out uncovering the beauty of the Vipava Valley.
