About the farm

Two cycling routes pass by the farm that is locally known as Tuševo: the first route is intended for recreational cyclists and the second for mountain bikers. The master of the house, Uroš, will say that there are more mountain bikers and that men are the more prevalent visitors to his farm. If required, the hosts at the farm help the cyclists with advice or bike repairs. They even offer to wait for cyclists at a prearranged point or to carry their luggage.

The lady of the house welcomes cyclists with mushroom soup and pampers them with apple strudels, homemade bread and buckwheat žganci. In addition to delicious bread, you can buy juice, cider and blueberry liqueur. The farm, surrounded by meadows and pastures, offers wonderful vistas over the valley of Šaleška dolina and can cater to groups of as many as 60 people. There is a sunny terrace to enjoy the days during the summer, and a warm wood-fired bread oven to warm you up in winter. Family members like to sing and are happy to play the accordion and/or the double bass.

Guests who are not cyclists are directed to Mount Kozjak, the Vinska gora mountain or the Terme Dobrna or the Terme Topolšica spas. There is play equipment for young children next to the house, along with a futsal pitch and a basketball court. There is also a tennis court nearby.
