The Benko excursion farm is beside the Ščavnica River in the widely dispersed villlage of Spodnja Ščavnica, famous for its mineral springs and its immense thirty-meter high oak tree. The homemade soups and roast duck.

There is a lawn for outdoor games and a children's playground, guests can borrow bicycles, and help with the farm work is always welcome. In season, there are plenty of mushrooms to be found, and the fishing is good as well.

The Radenci Health Resort is twelve kilometers away, and border with Austria at Gornja Radgona only seven. A visit to Gornja Radgona must include the wine cellar where the famous Radgonska Penina sparkling wine is produced in the classical manner and the ethnographical and historical exhibitions in the museum. A tour of the Radgonsko-kapelske gorice winegrowing area is also interesting.
