The Grofija tourist farm perches on a hill. It lies in a famous location, situated almost in its entirety on the grounds of an ancient Iron Age settlement that occupied this area 2800 years ago.

They offer meals to visitors and can even accommodate a few of them overnight. They especially recommend the following house specialties to guests: dishes made with colt’s meat and venison, homemade meat products, štruklji, buckwheat žganci, tarragon potica cake, wine from the family’s vineyard and homemade brandy.

At the farm, you can also see an ethnological collection presenting farm life, a deer pen, horses and goats. The farm also has a tennis court and mobile home park.

The nearby points of interest are Stična with the monastery and the museum of religion, the Lavrič cottage, the Jurčič homestead at Muljava, the source of the Krka River and the Krško Cave, the waterfalls of the Kosca River and the Bogenšperk Castle.
