The excursion and winegrowing Lovrec farm is situated in Jiršovci.

The house with its thatched roof, which won an award in 2009 for preserving cultural heritage in the countryside, is surrounded by vineyards and offers a great view of the surrounding area including parts of Austria, Hungary and Croatia.

In the kitchen the hostess continues the culinary tradition of the region. Guests will love her Styrian sour soup, pork roast, salad with minced lard, gibanica, apple strudel, cold cuts with meat from the tünka (lard barrel)… Guests will also enjoy excellent wines offered on the farm since there are 45,000 grape vines on the farm that are cultivated with great care and respect, producing 15 different varieties of wine (9 whites, 6 reds). You can also taste some of the homemade liqueurs and enjoy a glass or two of homemade brandy.

Children will enjoy the company of the farm's cat and Reks the dog, or they can join their parents and go for a ride in an old-fashioned hay wagon. The hosts can also organize guided tours of the nearby places of interest and help you to get to know them better. They will thus take you on a scenic tour of Destrnik, a tour of the vinedresser's cottage and General Maister's memorial room as well as St. Urban's church, and you can also climb to the top of Maister's tower with them.
