About the farm

Access: From the main road in Kranj to the regional road towards Jezersko where from the center one kilometer of asphaltet and 500 m of non-asphalted road leads to the farm.
Jezersko, which lies in a wide valley between the rocky Kamniške Alps and the forested Karavanke Mountains, is known as a mountain climate tourist resort. It is distinguished by its mild alpine air, clean and rich with ozone. The organic Malek Tourist Farm lies on a secluded and sunny site below imposing cliffs of Makekova Kočna. It has a rich tradition in tourism since it received its first guests in distant 1907.

They offer accommodations in standard or luxuriously furnished rooms with a marvelous view of the Kamniške-Savinjske Alps. Fortified by goodies from the farm kitchen, you can hike through an unspoiled mountain environment and spend an unforgettable day visiting remarkable valleys, Planšarsko Lake, Ovčja koča, Češka koča, and Čedca, Slovenia’s highest-lying waterfall.
