The farm of the Petek family of seven lies in the small village of Nova Štifta pri Gornjem Gradu, i.e. in the hamlet of Tirosek.

In this beautiful part of the Upper Savinja Valley (Zgornja Savinjska dolina) where man and nature still live hand in hand, the Petek family has built a typical farmhouse with three modern furnished apartments. During your stay at the farm, you can complement your daily meals with homemade dairy products: milk, cheese, cottage cheese, etc. You can treat yourself to homemade jam or pickled vegetables and have a glass of homemade juice for breakfast.

There are plenty of interesting and attractions worth seeing in the vicinity of the farm: the pilgrimage church of Mary the Star in Nova Štifta, the cathedral in Gornji Grad, Mozirski gaj park, the museum collection in Štekel, etc. The farm is an excellent starting point for all hiking enthusiasts, as there are trails that lead from the farm to the mountains of Kaštna planina, Lepenatka, Menina planina and Ravni as well as themed trails across the Gornji Grad Municipality, where the farmers included in the programme offer their produce and products. These are the first trails of this sort in Slovenia. All can be reached by car or bicycle. The peace and quiet on the farm will soothe the guests longing for a day or two of peace and a complete disconnect from the fast-paced world.
