Surrounded by vineyards, the Žurmanov breg farm is situated on the top of a hill near a forest and offers a wonderful view over Slovenia and Croatia.

What do they prepare for the guests to eat? They take pride that everything comes from their own farm and is prepared in a traditional bread oven. They also know how to look after vegetarians, and visitors can buy homemade bread, gibanica, meats preserved in lard barrels, minced lard, and cured meat to take home. And of course, top quality open and bottled wines are available as well.

Two hundred meters from the farm lies the birth house of actor Maks Furjan, and six churches are scattered around within one to four kilometers. Along with these churches, Zavrč Manor, Dornava Manor (which is considered one of the most beautiful secular late Baroque buildings in Slovenia and the most beautiful flatland manor in Štajerska), and Borl Castle are attractive excursion destinations. The Ptuj Thermal Spa is only twenty-two kilometers from Zavrč.
